Is it ok to date a college or law or medical professor or teacher? Does it matter if you are currently a student or not? Or currently in the class of the professor or still in school but not in class taught by professor?

I am personally OK with it. I mean if the professor allows a relationship to hinder his/her professional stance, then it was considerably lacking in the first place.

I think it would be alright except if you are in that person's class. I don't think that is a very good idea.

Well, I never had any teachers that I thought were hot or dateable, so I never been in that situation. I wouldnt date a professor..but if there was chemistry or attraction, anything is game after the class is over. It happens.

well......the only time we ever see this happening is in hollywood films and it usually ends in disaster with the professor cheating on his wife or killing the girl that he is shacking up with to avoid the wife that already knows that he is shacking up with a much usually younger, hotter, double d,blonde. Yep that is my take on it!!

I don'r know about that spring. One of my friends fell in love with her Economics teacher. She was in graduate school.. He was a young professor, and now they still see each other but no one is suppose to know about it.

I don't know...depends on the situation, I had a friend, married professor actually who started seeing a much younger friend of mine, he ended up buying her a car and helping her move out of state when she came up pregnant, I never asked who the father was, did not want to hear it!!!

Its a conflict on interest. The professor will become bias and can influence the other professors.
i think its ethically wrong.

Ethically wrong on the professors part possibly....but in college everyone is adults. I agree with you 35553. It could bias the professor either way good or bad. And either way could be unfair to the other students. It is usually best to wait until you finish at the school or at least until you finish taking that professors classes.
