Does anyone have any summer vacation plans?
I took an early summer trip to Tennessee that was wonderful.

Giving up my summer vacation this year to attend the USSSA Little League World Series with my oldest son. Well actually not "giving it up", just changing it, and this will now be a family vacation as he is pitching in it.

Awesome that should be a fun one. Good luck to him and congrats to the proud puppy. Let me know when he needs an agent.

I'll probably make a couple of day trips to Chicago. This will be the first summer I don't go to Hawaii, CA, Europe, etc. I'm spoiled and having withdrawals and shakes. We may visit the local sites we've never seen (Lake Cumberland, Mammoth Caves, etc.)

What part of Tennessee will you be?
Do you know where you will raft?
You should have an amazing, relaxing time.

some of the best rafting in the U.S. is in East Tennessee near Cleveland, Tennessee on the Occoee River.
I have done it probably 4x.
last time I received a foot long gash up my shin bone that probably needed stitches, but we kept on and had a fun time. Felt like I had broke it...guide flipped us out on a class 4 or 5 rapid...and trying to get back in the current to the raft my leg kicked a sharp rock under the water.
its a great time.

Not that I can really think of. There might be some rafting in Arkansas or in the Ozarks there but I am not familiar with it.
